Welcome to our website with cozy lodging houses in Dwingeloo and Diever, the province of Drenthe. We offer you a warm welcome in our two holiday homes "The Old Nijstad" in Dwingeloo and our two lodging houses at "Aan de Vaart" in Dieverbrug.
Dwingeloo and Dieverbrug are beautifully situated between two large national parks: the Drenthe-Friese Wold and Dwingelderveld. These are beautiful natural areas where you can enjoy walking or cycling.
The Drents-Friese Wold is an area less than 6000 hectares with heath, woods, shifting sands and valley landscape. The Dwingelderveld (3700 ha) is the largest wet heath area in western Europe, where wet and dry sand alternate ridges depressions. This is a great wealth of plant and animal life.
These natural parks offer many hiking and cycling paths, where you can relax or get active.
We invite you to have a look into the Bedstee and Leerlooierhuisje and Aan de Vaart. As you see all three accomodations are cozy and comfortable.
